The 2 Day First Aid for Sport, Exercise and Fitness certificate course provides training in first aid in a sports environment, providing the essential knowledge, skills and decisions for all first aiders in this sector. It is specifically designed to meet the needs of Sports Therapists, Group Exercise Instructors and Coaches.
This course is run over two days (16 hours) in a supportive and relaxed atmosphere designed to aid delegate confidence. It includes both theory and practical sessions

Monitoring conscious casualties Unconsciousness, causes and treatment using safe airway positions

Certification is dependent on successful continuous assessment of the candidate and the successful completion of a 10 question multiple choice question sheet. Those who complete the course successfully are awarded a certificate that is valid for three years.*.
*Under the current guidelines it is strongly recommended that first aid trained staff attend a half-day update every twelve months.
The group cost for an in-house course for up to 12 candidates is from £600 when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student. There are no additional costs.
