We would always recommend that anyone interested in learning first aid should attend a formally recognised course such as Emergency First Aid at Work or Paediatric First Aid, which have the ability to be tailored to meet specific needs (for example by spreading the training over several weeks and/or relating it to specific audiences). However, if you are merely seeking an awareness of certain areas, then it is possible to provide shorter courses to meet your needs.
The length and content of these courses will obviously vary, but you should plan on a minimum of 3-4 hours
This can be tailored to meet your specific needs. It could be a stand-alone course or added to a more formal ourse to enhance elements of that training.
These are not subject to the formal certification process, although a certificate of attendance will be issued by BEAT. There is no final exam.
The group cost for an in-house course for up to 12 candidates is from £160 when run at your venue. This includes certification and a manual for each student. There are no additional costs.
